Home Business Legal Plan

Every business needs a lawyer—but not every business can afford one on call. The Home Business Legal Plan connects you with a licensed law firm that understands your needs and provides real legal support at a predictable, affordable monthly rate.
Comprehensive Legal Coverage for Home Businesses
- Unlimited Business Consultations: Talk with a lawyer about any business issue, from contracts and leases to customer disputes or compliance.
- Legal Research: Up to one hour of research when your lawyer determines it’s necessary.
- Document Review: Have up to four business legal documents (up to 25 pages each) reviewed every month. Additional documents can be reviewed for $75 each.
- Letters & Phone Calls: Your lawyer can send up to 12 letters or make 12 phone calls per year on your behalf to help resolve business matters. Additional correspondence is available for $75 per item.
- Collection Letters: Receive up to four collection letters per month to help you recover unpaid debts or invoices.
- Specialized Legal Consultations: Get three 30-minute consultations per year in key business areas like Tax, Patent, Trademark, Copyright, or Antitrust law.
- CRA Audit Assistance: Coverage includes CRA legal services for business-related income forms (T2125, T2042, T2121).

What’s Not Covered
- Employment law, securities, import/export, international law, immigration, and other specialized areas
- Commercial property leases, multifamily complexes, and property managers are excluded
- Unused services do not roll over from month to month
